Our story
A roastery on the wharf,
ten years in.

Born of a long, foggy winter.
In 2014, June and Theo Marsh hauled a beat-up Probat drum roaster up the stairs of a shuttered sail loft on Wharf Lane. The plan was to roast for friends. By spring, there was a line at the door.
We're still in that loft. The cafe below opened the next year, mostly because people kept walking in asking if we made coffee, too. The answer, eventually, was yes, but only if we could do it the slow way.
Today we source green coffee directly from a handful of farms we visit each year, roast in small batches twice a week, and serve it downstairs to neighbors, fishermen, summer folks, and the occasional very calm dog.
What we believe
Buy honestly
We pay above Fair Trade for every lot and publish what we paid on the bag.
Roast lightly
We roast to highlight the bean, mostly light to medium, never to hide it.
Pour kindly
Coffee should feel like a welcome. Linger as long as you'd like.
